Staff Changes at The Clinic

We said goodbye to a few good friends at the end of last year, and although we were sad to see them go, we are very excited about the new opportunities for our staff.

Deedee has been promoted from patient services specialist to patient services manager. She is also working as the lead administrator internally for the transition to electronic medical records.

Eliana Pedraza started at Culmore as a volunteer interpreter. She has been promoted to the staff as the administrative and staffing specialist. We are very excited to have her join the team!

In addition to staffing changes, we are ready to welcome a new addition to our wonderful volunteer team. Kirsten is a nurse who is currently training as a new volunteer. We can’t wait to start work with her later this month.

Pedro Turina is also joining us as a volunteer patient navigator. Pedro connects patients with resources in the community that extends beyond their medical needs, and serves as an advocate for patients in the health safety net. Pedro has worked with Inter-American Development bank, and speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese). He came to Culmore Clinic through Ignation Volunteer Corps.
