This article, written by Kaiser Health News, explains what we do as interpreters. Many people don’t understand that our job is much more than simply changing words from one language into another. There are so many other factors involved. 

Although we don’t do palliative care at the Culmore Clinic, we do have cases which are quite difficult, both in primary care and in counseling. 

Thank you to our interpreters who donate their time and professional skills to make this communication possible between provider and patient! You all are wonderful and you are making a great difference in our patients’ lives!
