Please help us in acknowledging and celebrating our Volunteer of the Month, Karen Smith! We are so lucky to have Karen, a Volunteer Counselor at Culmore Clinic.

When prompted, Karen shared one of her favorite memories about volunteering at Culmore Clinic:

I fondly remember one time when a patient returned with (thank you) candy treats from her son's wedding. Her son and grandchildren were back in her life because of positive changes she made in counseling.

Karen became involved with Culmore Clinic because of her friends who were volunteers.

When she’s not spending time volunteering at Culmore Clinic, she’s rooting for the Washington Nationals. Needless to say she was thrilled with their World Series win.
